We'd like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to The Chalk Cliff Trust for supporting us.
We are excited to share here on our blog that we have recently facilitated our first funded outreach project! Earlier in the year we developed a programme of summer workshops to re-engage the local community post lockdown in partnership with The Whitehawk Inn. We applied to The Chalk Cliff Trust to enable us to facilitate the workshops and were overjoyed when our grant application was successful.
The grant funded a series of five free creative arts workshops during May for adults living in East Brighton.
We'd like to showcase some of the fantastic work achieved during the sessions.
Paper weaving with Louise
Cyanotype with Moose
Block printing with Cath
Monoprinting with Louise
Feltmaking with Cath
We Would like to thank all the participants for coming along, making beautiful creations and for such amazing positive feedback, we loved working with you! Thanks also to Anna Kuzan at the Whitehawk Inn for being so supportive and enthusiastic and for all the staff for making us welcome. Thanks also to Whitehawk Food Bank for distributing flyers, to Maggie Anderson for promoting the workshops and for being a big supporter of us here at East Side Print and to Alanna McIntyre for all her support advice and positivity. We would like to build and develop more opportunities in the Community going forward. If you are a local school or community group and would like to work with us then we'd love to hear from you.
