Advanced Screenprinting on Paper

About the course

This four-session course is a chance for intermediate to experienced screenprinters to iron out problem areas in their work and develop their skills under the guidance of tutor Louise Bristow. Areas covered can include registration, different ways of creating positives, constructing an image in layers and how formal elements (colour, tone, marks, composition) work together to create a successful image. Students are encouraged to bring along sketchbooks, drawings or photographs and to develop their own ideas into screen prints. This course is suitable for students who already have some experience of screenprinting and are familiar with the photo-stencil process. Ideal for people who have already done our five-week screenprint on paper course or who have screenprinted before elsewhere. All materials provided. Additional costs for paper or bring your own. Cancellation Policy

Course cancellations need to be made 28 days in advance via email for a refund and will be subject to a £10 administration fee. 
 Cancellations after this period will be subject to an administration charge of 50% of the course fee.  
Short notice cancellations made 7 days or less before the start of the course are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a course but have a friend or colleague that can take your place instead then there will be no admin fee for transferring the place.
